Las Cruces PD, NM – Officer Jonah Hernandez was killed while on duty answering a call for trespassing on Feb 11, 2024.  He is survived by his wife and 2 sons.  Officer Hernandez had been with the department for 2 years, the tragic event has left the community shatter and a family in mourning and struggling with what’s next. Here at back the Blue wants to remind people of the sacrifices and risks our law enforcement officer but on the line everyday.
